Nature Society Singapore is organising a Volunteer Recruitment & Sharing Session for individuals who are interested in contributing their time and skills towards nature conservation, outreach, and education.
This session will introduce participants to the Society’s work, the role volunteers play in advancing conservation efforts, and the various volunteer opportunities available. Participants will learn how they can get involved in a meaningful and sustainable way.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals who:
- – Have an interest in nature, biodiversity, or environmental conservation
- – Enjoy working with people and engaging the public
- – Are keen to contribute their time and skills to a non-profit organisation
- – Are reliable, committed, and willing to learn
No prior experience in nature conservation is required. Training and guidance will be provided.
Volunteers are generally aged 17 and above. Younger volunteers may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian, depending on the activity.
Objectives of the Session
- – To introduce Nature Society Singapore’s mission, programmes, and impact
- – To provide an overview of volunteer roles
- – To help potential volunteers understand where their interests and skills can best contribute
- – To build a stronger and more engaged volunteer community for nature conservation
